Terms & Conditions:
CREDIT CARD REQUIREMENTS AT CHECK-IN: American Express is not accepted at the hotel for any type of payment. A valid credit card is required at check-in for incidentals. A pre-authorization of USD $350.00 will be held and released at check-out, minus any charges incurred. Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover. Clients who fail to provide a valid credit card may be denied accommodation.
MEAL PLANS – Room rate quoted includes: All Meals; Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner daily, All Beverages(by the glass), Non-Motorized Watersports, tennis, Fitness Center, Live Entertainment, All taxes, gratuities and service charges.
TAXES – All rates include 17%ABST & 10% service charge.
PORTER FEES – Recommended Gratuity for hotel porters is US$2.00 per bag (applicable at the guests’ discretion)
INCIDENT CHARGES – Items not included in the all-inclusive plan (telephone calls, spa services, salon, tours, bottled beverages, gift shop purchases, etc.) will be charged to your room’s account. Clients are responsible for settling these or any other incidental charges directly with the hotel prior to Check-out
OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS – Guest Registration: All adult guests must sign the hotel’s registration form at check-in. Guests refusing to sign will not be accommodated.
HEALTH & SAFETY – Hotel is located in a tropical environment; insect-borne illnesses (e.g., Zika) are possible. Guests are advised to take precautions. Pregnant travelers should consult a physician before travel.
Food Allergies: The resort cannot guarantee allergen-free meals. Guests with severe allergies must take precautions.
Accessibility: Some areas may not be suitable for guests with disabilities or mobility issues.
GOVERNING LAW – The agreement made wih the Resort is governed by the laws of Antigua.
Courts in Antigua hold exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
FORCE MAJEURE & HOTEL DEFAULT – If the hotel is unable to accommodate the group due to unforeseen closure or force majeure (e.g., airport closure, storm), deposits and payments will be refunded. If the hotel defaults, all group payments will be refunded in full. Neither party will be liable for punitive or consequential damages.
INSECT-BORNE ILLNESS – The Hotel is located in a tropical environment. Although the Hotel maintains a year-round pest control program, the Hotel, its owners, employees, agents, insurers, and suppliers shall absolutely NOT be liable for, and all Guests shall HOLD HARMLESS the Hotel, its owners, employees, agents, insurers, and suppliers from any injury, illness, or loss resulting from exposure to Zika virus or any other insect-borne disease or similar tropical illness of any nature whatsoever. Potential Guests who are pregnant or may become pregnant should seek the advice of a qualified physician prior to travel.
FOOD ALLERGIES AND DIETRY RESTRICTIONS – The Hotel’s food and beverage outlets use wholesome ingredients, which may include peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, shellfish, shrimp, seafood, soy, milk, wheat, and other POTENTIAL ALLERGENS. Due to the large scale of the Hotel’s food and beverage operations, the Hotel CANNOT GUARANTEE that food and beverage items will not come in contact with potential allergens EVEN IF a particular dish or item does not normally include such ingredients. Guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions should TAKE PRECAUTIONS. The Hotel is NOT ABLE to accommodate individually tailored meals or menus for specific guests based on their individual dietary needs. The Hotel and its owners, employees, agents, insurers, and suppliers SHALL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE LIABLE for, and all Guests shall HOLD HARMLESS all such parties, from any injury, illness or loss resulting from food allergies or the Hotel’s inability to meet specific dietary needs or requirements.
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES – Due to the unique nature of the Hotel, its buildings, grounds, amenities, and services, the Hotel may not be suitable for Guests with certain disabilities and mobility issues. Some buildings, rooms, grounds, beaches, amenities, events, and services may not be accessible. Likewise, Guests with certain disabilities and mobility issues may encounter difficulties at local airports and with public and private transportation, walkways, buildings, facilities, services and events.
