During your 5-day stay in Jordan, you’ll be treated to the very best it has to offer.  Starting out from the capital, Amman, travel back in time to explore the astounding ruins left behind by the Nabateans who build the ‘Rose City’ Petra.  Here you ride by horseback through a deep rocky canyon to look upon some of the finest architectural sights to be found in the Middle East.

On Mt. Nebo, stand on the site where Moses is thought to be buried before visiting the Christian city of Madaba with its beautiful mosaics, dating back to the Byzantium era.  At Jerash admire the paved and colonnaded streets, spacious public Squares and public Baths built at the height of the Roman Empire.

No journey through Jordan is complete without experiencing the awesome beauty of the desert and particularly at Wadi Rum where you can take a jeep tour, driving past the sandstone cliffs and rocks that define this region.  This is an excellent introduction to a country that is defined by its history.

Visit the Citadel, the Roman Theatre, Umayyad Palace and downtown Amman. Then head south to Wadi Rum for a jeep ride through its stunning canyons before arriving in Petra.

Visit Petra, an ancient Nabataean capital, first riding on horseback through the narrow defile and then walking among the antiquities of the ‘Rose City’.

Visit Mount Nebo, its ancient Monastery and views of the Jordan Valley. Then on to the ‘Mosaic’ city of Madaba before touring the Greco-Roman ruins at Jerash. Return to Amman.
