Arrival

Arrive in Cairo where you will be met and at the airport and transferred to your hotel.  The balance of the day is at leisure.

Spend this morning at Cairo’s fabulous Egyptian Museum.  Considered one of the most prominent museums in the world, you will be offered important insights into Egypt’s 5,000-year ancient history. The priceless antiquities include King Tutankhamon’s Treasures. After lunch visit Cheops’ Pyramid and the Sphinx, over 3,500 years old, the towering pyramid stands majestically on a desert plateau with two slightly smaller pyramids erected to preserve their bodies and treasures for the afterlife.

This morning fly to Aswan, on arrival transfer to your ship which will be your home for the next 3 nights.  In the afternoon tour around Elephantine Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum before the ship sails to Kom Ombo.

Start the day with a visit to Aswan’s High Dam, the ancient Granite Quarries, and the wonderful Temple of Philae.  Then travel to Kom Ombo, a Graeco-Roman styled Temple dedicated to Sobek, the Crocodile God.  Later sail on to Edfu where the ship docks for the night.

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Horus, the falcon God. Sail to Luxor, through the locks of Ensa, where you will then visit the Karnak Temples.

After, disembarking from the ship, cross the Nile for a tour of the city of “Thebes”, visiting the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in the Valley of the Queens. Later you are transferred to airport and return to Cairo where you will spend a final night.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your final departure flight.
