Arrival

Arrive in Hyderabad, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. The balance of the day is free to explore this city famous for its blend of Mughal and Persian cuisines.

After breakfast, visit GolKonda Fort, a 16th century fortress. This majestic monument exudes a palpable sense of history. Golkonda was known as famous center for diamond mining, and boast of some of the most renowned diamonds in the world such as the Kohinoor and the Hope Diamond.  Next visit the Charminar, the majestic architectural hub of the old city. This square-sided structure, each side measuring 100 feet, has a central pointed high arch at the center. The minarets and their domed finials, rise high above the ground. Then visit the 17th Century Mecca Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India accommodating up to 10,000 people in its huge courtyard. Finish the tour with stops at the Jami Masjid and Toli Masjid Mosques.  The evening is at leisure.
