Day 1
Goa
Arrive in Goa where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Known as “Pearl of the Orient”, this west coast state of Goa is a tourist paradise. The magnificent scenic beauty, it’s wonderful beaches and the historical splendors of its temples, churches and old houses make Goa a fascinating place to visit. The balance of the day and evening is at leisure.
Day 2
Goa
After breakfast, spend the morning on a guided tour. Start with a visit to Panjim Goa’s charming capital. Old villas, a profusion of squares, wide tree-lined avenues, and narrow cobbled alleys weave through the older parts of the town whose tiled roofs and balconies reflect the architecture of the original Portuguese colonizers. Visit the church of St Francis, one of the most magnificent buildings in Old Goa, the domeless Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, located near the square and the Hindu Mahalxmi, the first Hindu temple to be built in Goa after the Portuguese invasion. Return to your hotel where the afternoon is at leisure.
