This is a real camping safari; a 10-day journey that will take you into the depths of an unspoiled wilderness. Starting in Zambia, tour the roaring cascades of Victoria Falls, where the largest curtain of water in the world drops over 300 feet into the Zambezi Gorge. Crossing into nearby Botswana marvel at a horizon, filled with elephants as you cruise the Chobe River before driving to Linyanti. The northeastern corner of the Linyanti is famed for its myriad of changing landscapes from riverine to savannah and from forest to plains and is home to unparalleled number of African game.
Route Details
Your safari takes the time to explore the contrasts, extremes and continually moving wildlife of northern Botswana. After leaving the broad vistas of the Linyanti enter into the crystal-clear waterways and fertile green islands of the Okavango Delta, a birder’s paradise. Finish the tour in the Moremi Game Reserve where you explore the permanently flooded inner Delta via the serene surrounding waterways and on foot across on the islands of trees and bush, each area introducing you to an environment filled with an unimaginable amount of wildlife.
Awaiting you in Linyanti and the Okavango are ‘Adventurous’ camps that are specifically outfitted to create camping that combines essential comforts with a pristine wilderness experience.
