Travelling via Montagu and the “Klein Karoo”, we enjoy a wine tasting stop at a vineyard before arriving in Oudtshoorn, ostrich capital of the world.

After breakfast we tour the vast limestone caverns of the Cango Caves, and an Ostrich Show Farm. Later there is an optional visit to the Cango Wildlife Ranch.

Driving over the Outeniqua Pass we visit the town of George with a stop at Victoria Bay, a beautiful cove enclosed by cliffs. Then we continue on through Wilderness, an attractive town with beautiful beachest and arrive in quaint Knysna.

After a leisurely start to the day, enjoy a lagoon cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve, where there is a trailer ride to top of Western Head, and a walk back through Milkwood trees for lunch (included). The afternoon at free to relax and explore this artistic town.

Tsitsikamma National Park

This morning we travel to Plettenberg Bay, the jewel of the Garden Route, before continuing to Bloukrans Bridge, the highest single span arch bridge in the world, and famous for its bungi jumping. Next we visit Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River Mouth (weather permitting) before spending the night in Tsitsikamma.

Today we set off to Mpumalanga via Nelspruit, White River and Hazyview and enter the world famous Kruger National Park. The afternoon is spent looking for the Big Five in the Park that has more recorded species of wildlife than any other African game reserve. In the late afternoon, we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today, enjoy breakfast a full day of game viewing in the Park searching for more African animals and spotting its many birds. We will stop at one of the rest camps for lunch (own account) before exploring more of the Park with its many different ecosystems.

Spend the morning at leisure before we return to Johannesburg with a stop for lunch (own account) in Graskop. Continuing on via Kowyn’s Pass to the picturesque town of Pilgrims Rest, we also pass through Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Belfast before arriving in Johannesburg in the early evening.

After breakfast travel through the Kruger National Park, with game viewing en route. At Skukuza Airport you will be met by the Sabi game rangers and transferred to Sabi Sabi Game Reserve for lunch. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax until your late afternoon open vehicle game drive. This area offers a great bio-diversity of habitat and wildlife, giving an excellent chance of experiencing close encounters with the “Big Five” – elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard and lion.
