It’s only when you have the opportunity to travel through the small African towns and villages, along roads less well travelled that you get to meet local people and come to appreciate the cultural subtleties as you explore a kaleidoscope of nations.
Travelling in a fully equipped safari vehicle, spend your nights camping under the constellations of the Southern Hemisphere. Each country offers an array of tantalizing experiences. Starting from South Africa’s beautiful city of Cape Town travel through the extraordinary lunar landscapes, deserts and seascapes of Namibia and game view in Etosha. In Botswana paddle the channels of the Okavango Delta, and cruise on the Chobe River at sunset where vast herds of elephants live, before crossing into Zambia and seeing mighty Victoria Falls - “The Smoke That Thunders”. After a few relaxing days by the Lake in Malawi, enter Tanzania. Here you’ll visit the former slave island of Zanzibar with its fabled beaches before game viewing in the great parks of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The journey will end all too send in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi but it will never be forgotten!
