Day 1
Windhoek
› Fish River Canyon
Departing Windhoek fly along the edge of the Kalahari Desert (Passengers are permitted one sports-kit bag of 10kg maximum weight) and arrive at the spectacular Nama Karoo in Southern Namibia, a fascinating area made up of a 4-desert biome, accentuated with harsh, yet awesome landscape vistas. Spend the night at the Canon Lodge set amongst giant boulders near Fish River Canyon. The evening is at leisure.

Fish River Canyon
› Sossusvlei
This morning visit Fish River Canyon, a 550-meter deep chasm created by the shifting of tectonic plates, and enjoy the grandeur of one of the worlds’s oldest wilderness areas. Next get a bird’s eye view of the canyon when flying west towards the coastal Namib Desert. Arrive in Sossusvlei in the Namib, the oldest desert on earth, with the highest sand dunes in the world.

› Swakopmund
Early this morning, travel by open vehicle to Sossusvlei and clamber to the top of one of these massive dunes to experience this soulful, harsh yet liberating environment, before visiting Sesriem Canyon. Then continue along the Atlantic coast to the quaint town of Swakopmund.

› Twyfelfontein
This morning visit nearby Walvis Bay for a marine cruise. From the boat admire the dry dune coast shore while enjoying sparkling wine and fresh Namibian oysters. Fur seals and aquatic birds often join you on board for a snack, while you watch for dolphins, leather backed turtles or even a whale. Return to land, and fly north up the Skeleton coast into Damaraland, home to the Desert Elephant, Black Rhino and many antelope.

Day 5
Twyfelfontein
› Etosha National Park
Before leaving Damaraland, visit an astounding outdoor art exhibition at Twyfelfontein. Here you will see paintings made by the Bushmen over 6,000 years ago. Afterwards, a short flight lands you near the border of Etosha National Park where you’ll spend the next 2 nights.

Etosha National Park
In the early morning drive into the Etosha National Park, to Etosha Pan. This vast saline desert that shimmers in the heat of the day, is surrounded by many waterholes that sustain over 114 different game as well as 340 different bird species! During your game drive you’ll see four of the Big Five as well as rare animals such as cheetah, Sable and the tiny Damara Dik-Dik.

Etosha National Park

After a leisurely breakfast, board your aircraft for the final flight back to Windhoek.
