Spend four magical days enjoying the culture and history of this visually stunning city with its pink, sandstone walls and with the snow-tipped peaks of the High Atlas Mountains creating a dramatic setting.  Enjoy a half-day tour that presents the city in all its glory from its lavish palaces to its treasure-filled markets.  There are also several optional excursions including a full day, in-depth tour of Marrakech the city, a trip through the Atlas Mountains to Berber villages or a tour to the Ourika Valley.

On arrival at Marrakech Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.  Check in for your 3-night stay.  The balance of the day is at leisure.

+ - Day 2 Marrakech

Spend the morning on a guided half day city tour of Marrakech. Your tour will include a visit to the beautiful Menara Gardens, The Bahia Palace with its lush Moorish-style Gardens dates from the reign of Moulay al-Hassan, when it was built as the residence of the grand vizier, Sidi Ahmed Ben Moussa, and the nearby Palais Dar Si Said which is the Museum of Moroccan Arts, ending with a visit to Koutoubia Mosque’s, Marrakech’s tallest Mosque, built in the 12th century.  Return to your hotel where the balance of the day is at leisure.

1)Majorelle & Ramparts – Depart today for your tour of the Majorelles gardens, a masterpiece crammed with rare species from the four corners of the world.  The delightful gardens, plated with bougainvillaea, coconut palms, and banana and bamboo tres were laid out in the 1920’s by the French artist Jacques Majorelle.  Today they belong to the French designer Yves Saint Laurent.  Continue onward to the city ramparts, with an impressive length of more than 10km, the city ramparts are among the main attractions of Marrakech. They are quite impressive with a height between 8 & 10 meters.  Return to your hotel, the balance of the day is at leisure.

2) Souks & Dejmaa Fna –Through the narrow streets of the old Medina in Marrakech, you will discover the artisans still working like in the old ages, as well as a multitude of small shops with colorful displays.  Visit the Old City with its wonderful souks (markets). The souks of Marrakech are some of the best in Morocco, producing a wide variety of high-quality crafts. Continue on to the famous Djemaa El Fna Square when it is at its liveliest in the late afternoon. Rows of open-air food stalls are set up and mouth-watering aromas fill the air. Jugglers, storytellers, snake charmers, magicians, acrobats and benign lunatics take over the rest of the space! Return to your hotel, the balance of the day is at leisure.
