Livingstone & Chobe

Combining a visit to Victoria Falls and nearby Botswana’s Chobe National Park is the perfect way to start or end your journey in Southern Africa. Travel first to Zambia and spend 2 nights in Livingstone (named for the great explorer), where you will have spectacular views of ‘Mosi-O-Tunya or Smoke That Thunders’. After touring Victoria Falls, there will be a chance to visit a local village, a museum and a craft market allowing you time to enjoy the culture of this fantastic country. Plus, before you leave Zambia, watch as the sun sets in a blaze of colour while enjoying a cruise on the Zambezi River.
Not far away is the game-rich country of Botswana, and after a short drive, you’ll cross the border and enter the land of elephants. Spend two wonderful nights at a game lodge, and enter the Chobe National Park where you will have game drives in open safari vehicles. Along the banks of the Chobe River is where elephants abound and really is the icing on the cake!
