    Day 1 Depart Toronto on your overnight flight to Amsterdam. On arrival connect with your flight to Johannesburg.

    Day 2 Arrive Johannesburg. Overnight at Protea Hotel OR Tambo Hotel or similar.
    Day 3-5 Kapama Game Reserve (BLD) Fly from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your lodge. Each day, enjoy early morning and late afternoon and evening game drives with our professional game rangers. In between, relax or choose from optional activities offered at your lodge. Overnight at Kapama Southern Camp or similar (3 nights).
    Day 6 Port Elizabeth (B) Fly from Hoedspruit to Port Elizabeth. Upon arrival in Port Elizabeth you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at The Beach Hotel or similar
    Day 7 Plettenberg Bay (BD) Depart Port Elizabeth and travel via the coastline to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park. Described as the ‘garden of the garden route’, the Tsitsikamma actually deserves a more vivid description to encapsulate the beauty of the place. Enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River mouth gorge which offers visitors incredible views and photo opportunities. Continue to Plettenberg Bay. Overnight at Hog Hollow ( 2 nights) or similar. .
    Day 8 Plettenberg Bay (BD) After breakfast, get up-close-and-personal with nature at the Elephant Sanctuary. The visit presents you with the opportunity to touch, feed and photograph these gentle giants. After lunch (to own account), travel to Plettenberg Bay for a visit to Birds of Eden – the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world. Birds of Eden stems from the need to create a safe environment in which to release a large collection of free-flight African birds and the sanctuary also enables bird owners to apply to release their pet birds into the sanctuary, after undergoing rehabilitation. Time permitting you have the option of embarking on a Whale & Dolphin boat experience (weather permitting and to own account) before returning to the lodge.
    Days 9 Oudtshorn (BD) After breakfast and check-out formalities, proceed to the lagoon side town of Knysna – the gem of the Garden Route. Enjoy some time at leisure at the Knysna Waterfront Complex before embarking on a fun and adventurous cruise to and into the Knysna Heads (weather permitting). On return to the mainland, continue to Oudtshoorn – the ‘feather capital’ of the world due to its large ostrich industry. Visit a working ostrich farm for a guided tour. Check into your accommodation in the late afternoon before enjoying dinner. Overnight at De Opstal Country Lodge
    Day 10 Cape Town (B) Breakfast and check-out of the hotel. Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves before departing Oudtshoorn. The Cango Caves – one of the natural wonders of the world and has become a major draw-card to the Karoo area. Afterward, travel via Route 62 to Barrydale for lunch (to own account). Arrive in Cape Town around 18h00. Overnight at Southern Sun Cape Town Waterfront (4 nights)
    Day 11 Cape Town (B) Enjoy a half day city and Table Mountan tour. Explore the city of Cape Town, known affectionately as the Mother City. Your tour will take in the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (built between 1666 and 1679, this is South Africa’s oldest building), the lively Greenmarket Square with its daily market, the Company Gardens and of course Table Mountain, which will give you spectacular views over the city and the Peninsula. (the cable car fee is not included as it is weather dependent). As you come back down from the mountain, make a stop at Bo-Kaap, home to the Cape Malay community, with its cobbled streets and brightly coloured houses. From here you have the choice of being dropped off at the Waterfront to experience this vibrant location at your own pace, with its many shops, restaurants and pubs - or at your hotel to end the tour.
    Day 12 Cape Town (B) Enjoy a full day Cape Point & Peninsular tour. This Cape Peninsula Tour starts with the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to Hout Bay, where you may choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal drives, where a funicular takes you to the top of the Peninsula to witness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and enjoy spectacular views over False Bay. Stop for lunch in the area, (not included – own account) before continuing to Simonstown, the naval base, and then visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach. On the return trip, enjoy a stop at the world renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens before arriving at your hotel late this afternoon.
    Day 13 Cape Town (B) Enjoy a full day Winelands tour. This delightful drive winds its way through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Your first stop is Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa, with canal lined avenues, and magnificent examples of Cape Dutch architecture where you enjoy your first wine tasting, coupled with a chocolate and dessert tasting. Onward over the scenic Helshoogte Pass, to Franschhoek, founded by French Huguenots over 350 years ago, and widely regarded as the culinary capital of South Africa. Its beautiful setting and café lined streets will charm you and a further wine tasting is included at one of the renowned estates in this area. Your final stop is at the town of Paarl, at the foot of a cluster of remarkable granite domes where you do your last wine tasting of the day, before heading back to Cape Town.
    Day 14 Depart Cape Town (B) Today you will be transferred to Cape Town airport for your overnight flight to Amsterdam.
    Day 15 Arrive Home. Transfer this morning from Amsterdam airport to Toronto.

    Day 1 Arrive San Jose. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in San Jose. Overnight at Gran Hotel or similar (2 nights).

    Day 2 San Jose (BL). After breakfast we depart on a tour of the Doka coffee plantation where you will be shown all the stages of coffee production as well as have lunch before returning to the city.
    Day 3 Arenal National Park (B) After breakfast you will be transferred to Arenal. The afternoon will be at leisure for you to enjoy the hotel factilities and the surrounding area. Overnight at Arenal Country Inn or similar (2 nights)
    Day 4 Arenal National Park (B) After breakfast enjoy a guided hiking tour throughout the rain forest, to spot monkeys, birds and learn about the history of the volcano. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the hotels facilities or take an optional tour.
    Day 5 Monteverde (B) Transfer by vehicle and by boat from Arenal to Monteverde. Drive from Arenal to Lake Dam where you will board a boat to Rio Chiquito. Once at Rio Chiquito (a little town at the other side of the lake) you will be transferred by bus (approx 1 1/2 hours) to Monteverde. The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at Trapp Family Lodge or similar ( 2 nights).
    Day 6 Monteverde (B) Today enjoy a guided visit to Selvatura Walk Ways where you can see and explore the forest. Selvatura is a conservation project in Monteverde with an area of more than 1200 acres of protected land. It offers 1.6 miles of easy walking trails for one to enjoy some of the world's most amazing and beautiful flora and fauna. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
    Day 7 - 10 La Posada (B) Transfer from Monteverde to the North Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Days are at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities and the beautiful beaches. Overnight La Posada Hotel (4 nights)
    Day 11 San Jose (B) Transfer from Guanacaste back to San Jose. Overnight at Gran Hotel Costa Rica.
    Day 12 Depart San Jose (B) You will be transferred to San Jose airport for your return flight.
